Diptayan, Monnisha Win At Pondicherry

Diptayan Ghosh of Kolkata and G.K. Monnisha (inset) of Chennai won the National U-13 Titles at Pondicherry on July 4, 2010. Diptayan remained undefeated. Monnisha lost to 2009 champion Lasya. Top seeds Girish Koushik of Mysore and Sunyasakta Satpathy of Orissa did not win. Udayan Ghosh of Kolkata was the chief arbiter. The champions will represent India in the National U-14 in 2011. JCI Pondicherry Mid Town organised the event on behalf of the Pondicherry State Chess Association
